Lag Consortium PVT LTD is a fully integrated company in Zimbabwe that was incorporated to offer solutions across three divisions namely, Construction, Energy and Agriculture. The company prides itself in our commitment to provide our clients with accountable, high standard and cost effective work by utilising our highly qualified and experienced personnel across all three divisions under the Consortium flagship.

Our Team

Ms Carol Chuma - CEO

Ms Chuma was appointed as CEO of LAG Consortium at Inception, she�s an Entrepreneurwith a Business Administration background. Ms Chuma is responsible for developing highquality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-termobjectives. Ms Chuma oversees all operations and business activities to ensure they producethe desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission. Some of her rolesinclude - Maintaining positive and trust based relations with business partners, shareholdersand authorities. Overseeing the company�s business operations, financial performance,investments and ventures. Supervising, guiding and delegating executives in their duties.Ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated.

Mr Isaac Mazuku - Global Executive

Mr. Mazuku leads a dedicated team that represents the Company with all external audiences both in the UK and in relevant overseas territories. Mr. Mazuku takes lead responsibility for the maintenance and development of LAG’s reputation and relationships with the media, regulators, governments, local communities, suppliers, customers, trade bodies and other stakeholders. He has been working in the transport and rail industry for over 7 years in the UK where he also has other business interests. Mr. Mazuku holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Wales.

Mr Tawanda Madziyire - Managing Director

Mr. Tawanda Madziyire graduated with a BSc (Hons) Construction Project Management and Surveying at University of South Wales and is certified by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Mr Madziyire has worked for Network Rail, UK as an Assistant Project Manager and he also worked for Forit Contracting Zimbabwe. Mr. Madziyire is responsible for holding regular meetings with clients, third parties and the project team to report progress of projects and an overall responsibility of ensuring contractual obligations related to the construction are fulfilled.

Eng Simon M Matema - Operations Director/Civil Engineer

Eng. Matema graduated with BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering from the University of Manchester,PGDip in Structural Engineering at the University of East London and has worked at Multiforce Contractors (Pvt) Ltd as a Site Engineer. Eng. Matema is responsible for overseeingprojects as they are being carried out to make sure that the work is done according to outlined specifications, and that they also conform to project timetable and budget. Eng. Matema works hand -in-hand with the project team(surveyors, engineers and architects) tocreate a mutual understanding of the project strategy based on the requirements of the job.

Eng Joseph Mlambo - Site Engineer

Eng. Mlambo graduated with BEng (Hons) Civil and Water Engineering from National University of Science and Technology(NUST). Eng Mlambo has worked at Multiforce Contractors(Pvt) Ltd as an Assistant Site Engineer. Eng. Mlambo is responsible for preparing sites priorto the commencement of construction work, making safety inspections and ensuring site procedures uphold construction and site regulations. Eng. Mlambo is also responsible forsupervising contracted staff and meeting with sub-contractors.

Mrs Marcinelle Maridhanise - Quantity Surveyor & Contracts Manager

Mrs Maridhanise holds a National Diploma in quantity Surveying from Kwekwe PolytechnicInstitution. Mrs. Maridhanise has worked for Masimba Construction as a Quantity SurveyorTechnician in the early stage of her career. Mrs. Maridhanise’s duties are Quantity take-offs, Building up rates. Preparation of Bill Quantites, Tendering, Valuations, Project Supervision Final Accounts.

Architect Bill Ruzario - Architectural Technologist

Mr. Ruzario is a qualified and experienced Architectural Technologist who is registered withthe South African Council for the Architectural Professions. Mr. Ruzario studied ArchitecturalTechnology at Harare Polytechnic, and the Academic Institute of Excellence JHB. He hasworked at Cycad Architectural Consultants Johannesburg for 5 years and at FBC buildingsociety(projects) in the early stage of his career. Mr. Ruzario is head of the Architectural and Design department, for LAG’s development projects.
